For every kilo of Cacao-Trace chocolate or cocoa-based product sold, €0.10 is distibuted directly to the farmers & their communities to improve living conditions through better income, education and healthcare.
Cacao-Trace takes concrete action for the planet. They support agroforestry and reforestation initiatives and are actively working to reduce CO2 emissions during cocoa cultivation.
To build a sustainable cocoa chain, Cacao-Trace address deforestation and restore biodiversity by promoting good agricultural practices, increasing productivity and investing in agroforestry. They aim to lower their environmental footpring & support regenerative agriculture. Cacao-Trace enure full traceability and compliance with environmental regulations, protecting endangered forests and fostering a sustainable future for cocoa farmers and their communities.
Better Income: The primary challenge in the cocoa supply chain is farmer poverty, the root cause of many issues. Cacao-Trace guarantees better income for farmers through the quality premium & chocolate bonus, providing an additional 2 to 5 months of income annually.
Better Education: Cacao-Trace supports farmers' families by building schools, canteens, toilets and by creating the right educational environment with school kits for children.
Better Health: Cacao-Trace prioritize better health conditions by installing facilities to ensure access to drinkable water & constructing maternities in the communities.
