We genuinely hope you find the whole experience enjoyable and that purchasing our range of exquisite handmade chocolates is very satisfying. Royal Mail guarantee first class parcel to be delivered in 3 working days. At Holdsworth we like to dispatch orders the same day of receipt whenever possible. Weekends and Bank holidays can cause delays, so at these times please allow up to 2 days extra time. But please be assured that a majority of orders are despatched the same day.
Royal Mail Next Day Signed for delivery. When selected this means these items will be posted for delivery by 1pm the next day. A signature will be necessary, this means parcels cannot be left in a secure location. This type of delivery benefits from SMS or Email notifications assuming details are provided when placing your order. If you miss your delivery, a missed delivery card will be posted through your letterbox which will enable you to collect the parcel from your local Royal Mail depot.
Selecting the next day delivery option means goods will be delivered by DPD carrier. These items will be dispatched on the day of receipt. To guarantee next day delivery orders must arrive prior to 12.00 noon. Next day delivery is own available at point of purchase via the options displayed in the checkout section. When selected details will be applied to the receipt identified as next working day. This method benefits from the ability to track the parcel once it is dispatched. Please note that these deliveries may be left without a signature in a secure location at the driver’s discretion.
If product is damaged in the delivery process contact us asap.

In the event Holdworth Chocolates agrees a return is appropriate, the cost of postage as well as the replace or refund will be processed after confirmation of receipt. Please be aware that any refunds will be made via the original form of payment.
Creating a new user account at www.holdsworthchocolates.co.uk requires basic details such as: Name, Address, Shipping details, email address and telephone number. Placing orders using the online shop will require an acceptable form of payment. A debit or credit card needs to be associated with the billing address. Holdsworth Chocolates do not hold or storage any card details. This information will be used to process orders and, if necessary, to contact you regarding the status of your orders. In order to develop our business, we do use some of the collected data including recipient details to send information from our company – we will never pass on details to second or third parties

We have a firm commitment to protect your privacy and security as our customer. We are obliged by the Distance Selling Directive, the Data Protection legislation, and all current Trade and Legal precedents and policies to respect your wishes. As a result we will not divulge your information to any third parties.

Hot or Extreme Weather
During times of extreme weather, for example, usually hot or cold, deliveries can be affected. Because Holdsworth chocolates likes nothing more than to supply fresh products in great condition directly to your home, we occasionally find it necessary to hold deliveries back. This only occurs in exceptional circumstances and in each case all customers will be contacted regarding the details.
